Monday recruiting tidbits

Running back Tristian Houston of Galena Park, Texas, North Shore said he plans to visit Arkansas sometime during the summer. He has several offers, including one from the Razorbacks. Running backs coach Joel Thomas is his lead recruiter. Video highlights CLICK HERE

North Little Rock athlete D.J. Brown will visit Northern Illinois Friday and Saturday for their spring game. He's expected to receive an offer during the trip. Arizona State and San Diego State are showing strong interest and plan to visit the school during the spring evaluation period.

Arkansas had several visitors for Saturday's scrimmage, including receiver Tre Stearns of Northestern Oklahoma College, 2016 safety Austin Quilen of Jenks, Oklahoma and receiver Malik Broughton Kathleen, (Ga.) Veterans.

Stearns and Broughton are possible walkons.

Sophomore guard Lawson Korita of Pulaski Academy will play this spring and summer for the Arkansas Wings.

Pine Bluff coach Bobby Bolding said tight end-defensive end John Tate, safety David Beasley, quarterback- defensive back Ladarius Skelton and running back Romar Reades will visit Arkansas on Saturday.

Other sophomores expected to also visit:

Star City defensive-offensive lineman Austin Capps said he's a go to visit the Hogs,

Jonesboro running back Denzel Mitchell.

Fort Smith Northside linebacker Deontre Hardwick said he and 2015 commitment Daytrieon Dean will also be on hand.

As reported on Sunday, Bentonville quarterback Kasey Ford, Smackover receiver Jordan Jones, Prairie Grove tight end Dylan Soehner, Hope defensive end McTelvin Agim and quarterback Breylin Smith of Conway will also visit.

Fort Smith Northside receiver Kiondre Thomas also plans to visit on Saturday. He recorded a 4.60 laser time in the 40, 4.16 in the pro-shuttle, a 31.5 vertical and 31 foot power ball.
