Monday recruiting tidbits

LB Jordan Williams plans to visit Arkansas.

Linebacker Jordon Williams said he's looking at the Arkansas-Alabama game on Oct. 11 as a possible date for an official visit.

Williams, 6-1, 195, 4.59 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Houston Jersey Village has 13 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, Louisville, Utah, Wake Forest and Iowa State.

He said his team has a game on Thursday night leading up to the Hogs and Tide matchup. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Offensive tackle Tyler Howell of Butler Community College in Kansas said he plans to officially visit Arkansas for the LSU game on Nov. 15.

Running back Reggie Gallaspy, 5-11, 215 pounds, 4.50 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Greeenboro, N.C. said he's still undecided on whether he'll take his official visits or not. He announced a top five in no particular order Arkansas, Duke, Vanderbilt, North Carolina State and Michigan State on July 26.

Gallaspy and his father visited Fayetteville July 23-24.

Athlete Deven Hammond of Port Allen, La. said he and Alabama receiver commitment Daylon Charlot of Patterson, La. plan to visit Arkansas together.

Hammond visited Fayetteville July 25.

Safety Antonyo Sotolongo of Miami Gulliver Prep said he plans to take an official visit to Arkansas. He's good friends with Hog cornerback Cornelius Floyd and has heard good things about the Razorbacks. He said having Floyd on-campus it's a big plus for the Hogs. Video highlights CLICK HERE

He reports more than 20 offers, including Arkansas.

Arkansas freshman defensive lineman Bijhon Jackson said he reported in June at 347 pounds but now weighs 317.
