Dean signs with Hogs

Fort Smith Northside defensive end Daytrieon Dean has signed an athletic financial aid agreement with Arkansas.

Dean, 6-3, 255, 4.89 seconds in the 40 yard dash, committed to the Hogs March 1 over offers from Ole Miss and Arkansas State. Oklahoma State extended an offer after his pledge to the Razorbacks.

He's my No. 9 prospect in the state regardless of class. Dean recorded 50 tackles, 6 sacks and 1 tackle for a loss while missing most of two games due to an ankle injury as a junior.
