Nine Hogs to enter SWC Hall of Fame

— Eight former Arkansas players and a former coach will be inducted into the Southwest Conference Hall of Fame.

Former football players Lance Alworth, Loyd Phillips, Clyde Scott, Leotis Harris and Billy Moore, former basketball player Sidney Moncrief, former basketball coach Eddie Sutton and former track & field athletes Mike Conley and Melody Sye will be honored at a luncheon in Little Rock on Nov. 10.

They will join former Arkansas football coach Frank Broyles, former basketball coach Nolan Richardson and former track & field coach John McDonnell as inductees into the SWC Hall of Fame.

The SWC Hall of Famel is supported by the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in Little Rock and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in Waco, where it is located.
