UA women win in Puerto Rico

— Arkansas had three top five finishers and the Razorbacks won the Lady Puerto Rico Classic on Tuesday.

Gaby Lopez shot a final round 1-over 73 to finish in third place, while Emma Lavy and Emily Tubert each shot final rounds of 75 to finish in a tie for fourth in the individual standings. The No. 7 Razorbacks shot 867 for the three-day tournament, winning by 14 strokes over a field that included five other teams ranked in the top 25.

The win was the second this season for Arkansas. The Razorbacks won the Mercedes Benz Collegiate Classic in September and have finished in the top six of all five tournaments they have played.

Arkansas will next participate in the Darius Rucker Collegiate beginning March 7 in Hilton Head, S.C.
