Friday recruiting tidbits

Arkansas Coach Mike Anderson and associate head coach Melvin Watkins watched junior college point guard Trey Dickerson Thursday night.

Dickerson, 6-0, 178 of Williston State College said he plans to take an official visit to Fayetteville after his season. He likes the Hogs' style of play and believes he can help the Razorbacks. He's watched the Hogs this season and done research and knows the the personnel very well.

Washington State, Nebraska, Iowa, Western Kentucky, Boise State and others have extended offers. The an offer from Arkansas appears to be coming soon.

He and another Arkansas target Willie Atwood talk on a regular basis and hope to attend the same school.He's averaging 19.8 points and 5.8 assists this season.

Dickerson averaged 14 points and 8 assists at Price High School in Los Angeles California before going to God's Academy in Dallas and averaged 23 points and 8 assists in 2012-2013. He said Anderson plans to make an in-home visit so he can talk to his parents.

Ole Miss has offered Hope sophomore defensive end McTelvin Agim. He also has offers from Arkansas, Baylor and Clemson.

Oklahoma State has invited Highland junior athlete Avery Johnson to their camp. He plans to attend. He has offers from Arkansas State and Southern Miss. He'll visit Arkansas on March 1.

Newport linebacker Khairan Stafford plans to attend the Nike Combine in Atlanta.

Jonesboro junior receiver Lamar Haynes, 6-1, 175 is drawing interest from Arkansas. He recorded a 4.46 time in the 40 yard dash in testing recently. He had a 4.21 pro-shuttle, 33-inch vertical and 7.04 L-Drill. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Pine Bluff sophomore running back Romar Reades, 5-9, 192 ran a 4.48 in the 40 and power cleaned 275. He rushed 74 times for 622 yards, 8.4 yard average and 7 touchdowns this past season. Coach Bobby Bolding said Arkansas is showing strong interest.
