Safety DeShon Elliott 6-1, 205, 4.53 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Rockwall, (Texas) Rockwall-Heath said he received an offer from Arkansas on Monday night. He also has scholarship offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Baylor, TCU and Iowa.

Arkansas defensive end commitment Hjalte Froholdt of Denmark said he's up to 280-285. He was weighing 270-275.

Receiver Tyron Johnson of New Orleans, (La.) Warren Easton reported receiving an offer from Arkansas on Monday. ESPN rates him the No. 2 receiver in the nation. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Virginia offered Pine Bluff tight end Will Gragg on Monday.

Newport linebacker Khairan Stafford said he has been invited to Arkansas' spring game. The Hogs also invited offensive lineman Jesse Simmons. Stafford highlights CLICK HERE

Highland athlete Avery Johnson has been invited to North Carolina's junior day this Saturday. He's visit Arkansas on this weekend but plans to visit the Tar Heels in the spring. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Fayetteville safety Dre Greenlaw will play running back in the fall too. He's an Arkansas State commitment. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Guard King McClure of Triple A Academy has a bruised knee and his status is day-to-day going into the playoffs. He plans to visit some schools once his season is completed.

In December, he announced Arkansas, Baylor, UCLA, Texas, Kansas and Duke as his top six schools, in no particular order.
