Getting to meet Arkansas defensive line and specialists coach Rory Segrest was one of the highlights for defensive lineman Jozie Milton during his visit on Saturday.

“Getting to know the D-line coach,” Milton said. “That was pretty cool and the facilities were amazing.”

Milton, 6-3, 294, 4.9 seconds in the 40 yard dash of Clinton, (La.) Silliman Institute Milton, has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Arizona State, West Virginia, Oklahoma State, South Carolina and others. The Hogs were the first to offer. Video highlights CLICK HERE

He said Coach Bret Bielema referred to the movie Meet the Fockers while explaining a circle of trust.

“He was saying he doesn’t expect me to trust him, because he’s not in the circle of trust, but he wants to be,” Milton said.

Bielema and the staff made a big impression on Milton and his parents.

“I think they liked the coaches the most,” said Milton, who recorded a 365-pound bench press and 605-pound squat last summer. “Because that’s what matters.”

Milton, who had 110 tackles, 36 tackles for loss and 9 sacks this past season, said the visit placed the Razorback's high on his list. He said Arkansas’ facilities show the Hogs’ care for their athletes.

“Everything was big,” Milton said. “They try to have the best for their players the weight room was amazing The treatment room....I’m just glad that they try so hard for their players and they want what’s best for them.”
