Louisville cornerback commitment De'Eric Culver said he talked to Arkansas defensive coordinator Chris Ash on Sunday.

Culver, 6-0, 180 of Tallahassee, (Fla.) Godby pledged to the Cardinals last May. He was told the Hogs like his video. One to watch. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Defensive lineman Breeland Speaks of Jackson, (Ms.) Callaway said he will take an official visit to Arkansas on Jan. 31. The Ole Miss commitment plans to visit LSU the 17th and the Rebels the 24th.

He earned his offer from the Hogs during last year's June camp. He said he felt like home during his time in Fayetteville. Will make his final decision on signing day. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Defensive end Rashawn Shaw of Fort Pierce, (Fla.) Central will make an official visit to Arkansas, according to his father, Mike. He said Jan. 24th is the most likely date for the trip. At this time he has not decommitted from Louisville.

They also plan to visit Georgia Tech. A visit to Cardinals doesn't appear to be in their plans at this time because of the uncertainty of the coaching situation with Charlie Strong going to Texas. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Junior defensive lineman Quentez Johnson, 6-4, 320, 5.2 of Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove announced on Saturday a top three of Arkansas, Miss. St. and Auburn on Twitter. He said he talked to Hog cornerback coach Taver Johnson on Saturday and they talked about him attending a junior day. He believes an offer could happen when he visits. Video highlights CLICK HERE

As was reported a few days ago, athlete Josh Liddell of Dollarway said he will officially visit Arkansas on Jan. 31. The Arkansas State commitment will visit Boise St. the 17th and the Red Wolves the 24th. The Hogs haven't extended an offer at this time.

Sophomore running back Denzel Mitchell of Jonesboro recorded a 4.40 laser time in the 40, 4.50 pro-shuttle time and a 31-inch vertical at the Army National Combine in San Antonio while dealing with a tight hamstring.

Defensive end Parker Witt, 6-2, 214 of Dardenelle recorded a 4.71 laser time in the 40 and had a 29.5 vertical at the combine. Told he won 5 of his 7 one-on-one reps.
