Arkansas defensive line and specialists coach Rory Segrest was interviewed by the media via teleconference at noon today. Here's a few notes.

He said he had several opportunities to move on to bigger BCS jobs, but didn't want to move his family until it was for the right job.

No decision has been made about his recruiting territory, but has strong recruiting ties in South Alabama,

Panhandle of Florida and the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. He grew up in Georgia and recruited the whole state. He's also recruited Alabama, areas of Tennessee and areas of Kentucky. Has more than 100 games of NFL experience.

Segrest said he's a hard worker and feels like he has a great rapport with kids.

Only contact with Coach Bret Bielema prior to getting the job was after the Samford game when Bielema complimented his D-line and special teams.
