Wednesday recruiting tidbits

Offensive lineman Brian Wallace Jr. signs an autograph for a young fan after the U.S. Army All American game.

Tight end Ravian Pierce of Plantation, Florida and Arkansas have parted ways.

Pierce, who committed to the Hogs in September, has some work to do in the classroom and because of the 25 signee limit the Razorbacks decided to go a different direction.

Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema and offensive line coach Sam Pittman made an in-home visit with Tucson, Arizona offensive lineman Andrew Mike on Monday night. Pittman will return for another visit next week.

Mike, who officially visited the Hogs over the weekend, continues to praise Bielema and Pittman. Very impressed with both coaches.

Brian Wallace Sr and Leslie Wallace said Sunday's in-home visit from Bielema, Pittman and defensive line coach Rory Segrest went great.

Wallace Jr. obviously was glad to see his future coaches. There's not an ounce of doubt in Wallace's mind about his commitment to the Razorbacks. Segrest continues to impress parents and recruits. He did the same with the Wallace and his parents.

Safety Christian Campbell of Phenix, Alabama said he has received an offer from Missouri. He also received offers fro Minnesota and Boise State recently. Arkansas has been in contact with him.

Georgia has requested the transcript and ACT score of Dollarway athlete Josh Liddell, according to Coach Cortez Lee. He said no offer has been extended at this time.
