Sunday recruiting updates

Defensive end Solomon Thomas, a consensus four-star recruit, is one of Arkansas' top prospects for the class of 2014.

Updates on the six official visitors who arrived on Friday will be posted when available.

Hearing receiver Kendrick Edwards of Miami Norland will take a visit to Louisville next weekend.

Hearing linebacker Randy Ramsey of Ft. Lauderdale, (Fla.) Dillard is a good possibility to commit before he leaves today.

Cornerback Cornelius Floyd of Miami Gulliver will likely see Coach Bret Bielema for an in-home visit on Monday.

Sounds like Bielema will see defensive end Solomon Thomas for an in-home on Tuesday. Kicker commit Cole Hedlund will be on Tuesday or Wednesday. Linebacker commit Khalia Hackett likely on Thursday.

Bielema did an in-home with tight end commitment Jack Kraus on Saturday afternoon.

Bielema and tight ends coach Barry Lunney. Jr. watched Springdale tight end Josiah Wymer's basketball game on Friday. He said he's suppose to talk to Lunney this week.

Wymer is committed to UCA, but the Hogs are wanting him to walk on.

Receiver Kendrick Edwards has the Hogs as his leader. He loved the coaches, Fayetteville and facilities. He likes his chances for early playing time. As noted earlier, he still plans to visit Louisville next weekend. He was hosted by receiver Keon Hatcher.

Received Jojo Robinson of Miami Northwestern loved his visit and was impressed with the family atmosphere. He said the Hogs would play him at slot receiver. He's looking to make a midweek official visit to Auburn and TCU next weekend. His hosts were safety De'Andre Coley and offensive lineman Denver Kirkland. He still counts himself a Florida State commitment.

Still expecting to hear good news from linebacker Randy Ramsey at some point.

Linebacker commit Dwayne Eugene and cornerback commit Henre' Toliver are expected to host Bielema for in-home visits tonight.

Bielema is expected to do an in-home visit with linebacker Kenny Young of River Ridge, (La.) Curtis on Tuesday.

Offensive lineman Andrew Mike of Tucson, (Ariz.) Sabino is finishing up an official visit to Florida. Offensive line coach Sam Pittman is supposed to do an in-home visit this week. He and Bielema did an in-home last week.

Kicker commitment Cole Hedlund of Argyle, Texas said his host was snapper Alan D'Appollonio. Meeting the players and the people within the program was the best part of the trip.

He's excited to work with defensive line and specialists coach Rory Segrest. His parents are also impressed with Segrest.

Defensive end Solomon Thomas rates his visit as an eight. He also rated his visits to Stanford and UCLA an eight. He said the highlight of the trip was hanging out with defensive line coach Rory Segrest and the players. He said Segrest had different ways of doing things and they work well.

He'll announce his decision on ESPNU on signing day.

Nashville junior receiver La'Michael Pettway will visit Alabama on Feb. 1. An offer could be a possibility during the visit. He has offers from Ole Miss and Nebraska. Arkansas is showing strong interest.

Miami Killian defensive end Anthony Brown, who officially visit Miss St. this weekend, will host Coach Bret Bielema, linebackers coach Randy Shannon and defensive line coach Rory Segrest for an in-home visit on Monday

Receiver Kendrick Edwards of Miami Norland tweeted that Bielema will do an in-home visit on Monday. Bielema hosted all of the recruits at his house for breakfast this morning.

8:01 update

As reported earlier, Bielema will make an in-home visit with cornerback Cornelius Floyd of Miami Gulliver Prep on Monday. He will be joined by cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson. They're expected to arrive at Floyd's house at 5 pm eastern time.

Junior tight end Chris Clark of Avon, Connecticut, Avon Old Farms said tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr.extended a scholarship offer to him on Saturday.

Bielema, receivers coach Michael Smith and running backs coach Joel Thomas visited linebacker commitment Dwayne Eugene's home for about two hurs today.His teammate and cornerback Henre' Toliver and his family also came over to the house.

Ole Miss defensive line commitment Breeland Speaks of Jackson, (Ma.) Callaway is still on for his official visit to Arkansas this weekend.

The Hogs could also host several walk on prospects on official visits.

Arkansas offensive coordinator Jim Chaney will visit Nashville High School on Monday to check on receiver La'Michael Pettway, according to Coach Billy Dawson.
