Ronnie Brewer was one of three players waived by the Chicago Bulls Tuesday.
The former Arkansas guard recently concluded his eighth NBA season, in which he played in only one game with the Bulls and 23 with the Houston Rockets.
He has also spent time with the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, New York Knicks and Oklahoma City Thunder.
Brewer has career averages of 7.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
Mike James and Lou Amundson were the other players waived, while the Bulls used the amnesty provision on All-Star Carlos Boozer. The moves were made in order to create cap space for Pau Gasol and Nikola Mirotic.
