Monday recruiting tidbits

Running back Reggie Gallaspy is planning to visit Arkansas this week.

Running back Reggie Gallaspy, 5-11, 215, 4.53 of Greeenboro, N.C. will visit Arkansas Wednesday and Thursday. He has offers from Arkansas, Louisville, Michigan State, Duke, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt and others. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Safety Montrel Wilson, a Baylor commitment, plans to visit Arkansas on Thursday.

Wilson, 6-3, 195, 4.59 of Keller, Texas, Fossil Ridge is wanting to check out the environment. He said a good visit will likely lead to an official visit to Fayetteville. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Hope junior defensive end McTelvin Agim, 6-3, 247, 4.6 and offensive lineman Kadarius Rowe, 6-3, 320 plan to attend Arkansas' Elite Camp on Thursday.

Agim has nine offers, including Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma, Stanford and others.

TCU defensive line commitment Joe Broadnax, 6-0, 303 of Dallas Bryan Adams said he plans to participate at Arkansas' camp on Thursday. He has five other offers, including Fresno State, Illinois State and North Texas. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Junior quarterback Kenny Sears, 6-3, 210 of Covington, La. plans to take part in Thursday's camp. He visited the Hogs earlier in the summer. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Defensive end Reggie Walker, 6-2, 230, 4.56 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Ponchatoula, La. said Arkansas and Florida are his top two schools. He has about 18 offers, including Arkansas, Florida, Arizona State, Kansas, Kansas State and Texas Tech. Receivers coach Michael Smith is his lead recruiter.

Junior running back Damarea Crockett, 5-11, 198 of Camden Fairview recorded 4.47 seconds in the 40 and had a 35.8 vertical at Auburn's camp. He said he was named as one of the top six running backs at the camp. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Running back Karan Higdon, 5-9, 190, 4.46 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Sarasota, (Fla.) Riverview will not visit the Hogs this week, but is shooting for next week. He has scholarship offers from Arkansas, South Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wake Forest and others. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Junior receiver Roddrick Bryant, 6-3,180, 4.55 of St. Louis Christian Brothers plans to visit Arkansas on Tuesday. He has an offer from Illinois. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Fort Smith Northside junior cornerback Kiondre Thomas had an impressive showing at the recent TCU camp. He reports running a 4.37 time in the 40 yard dash, a vertical jump: of 35 inches and 4.35 pro shuttle time.

He said Horned Frog Coach Gary Patterson spoke to him after his 40 time and indicated an offer might be in the works.He plans to attend Arkansas' camp. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Arkansas offensive line signee Cameron Jefferson said he'll report to Fayetteville Aug. 1st or 2nd.

Receiver Dominique Reed, 6-3, 170 of Coffeyville Community College said he's hoping to visit Arkansas next weekend. He reports receiving an offer from the Hogs several months ago.

He played at Camden Fairview before heading to junior college. He said he's unsure if he would commit should his visit go well. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Linebacker/safety Jordon Williams, 6-1, 195, 4.59 of Houston Jersey Village said he was hoping to visit Arkansas this week, but it looks unlikely. He said the Hogs will get one of his official visits.

He's being recruited by defensive backs coach Clay Jennings.

Little Rock Catholic defensive-offensive lineman Luc Bequette, 6-2, 285 plans to attend Arkansas' camp. He has offers from California, Air Force, Army, Navy and others.

Arkansas running back commitment Rawleigh Williams, 5-10, 198, 4.51 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Dallas Bishop Lynch will visit the Hogs on Friday. He said he's bringing his mother to Fayetteville on this trip so she can see what Arkansas is all about. He and his father visited in June.

He said he's recruiting North Little Rock receiver K.J. Hill and Dumas tight end Will Gragg. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Cornerback Sheldrick Redwine, 6-2,190, 4.5 of Miami Killian said he's considering Arkansas for one of his official visits. He said his lead recruiter and linebacker coach Randy Shannon is key for his interest in the Hogs.

1:07 update

Nationally ranked kicker Blake Johnson of Los Alamitos, Calif. said he plans to participate in Arkansas' Elite Camp on Thursday.

Mayflower running back-defensive back Justin Bailey has received an offer from Middle Tennessee State.

Arkansas 2016 receiver commitment Jordan Jones of Smackover will visit Arkansas on Thursday.

2:44 update

Johnson said his parents and two younger sisters will accompany him on his visit to Arkansas.

They'll fly into Dallas on Tuesday and tour the city and then head to Fayetteville on Wednesday. He reports offers from Oregon State, Duke and Colorado. He believes he has an offer from Arkansas but it won't be official until he visits.

He and his family will drive down to LSU after the Arkansas visit. He expects the Tigers to offer during the visit.

He promised his parents he would wait until the ned of July before he commits. So the earliest a decision would come late next week.

Highly recruited offensive lineman Jalin Barnett of Lawton, Okla. said he hoped to visit Arkansas this weekend but had somethings come up and won't be able to make the trip.

Correction- Roddrick Bryant will visit Arkansas on Tuesday.
