— Arkansas baseball is in the market for a new volunteer coach.

Brad Flanders was hired as pitching coach at Abilene Christian on Monday after spending last season in a volunteer capacity with the Razorbacks. Flanders, a former catcher at Missouri, worked with Arkansas' catchers in the volunteer role.

Past volunteer coaches for the Razorbacks have included Brian Walker and Chris Curry. Walker is now the hitting coach at Wichita State, while Curry was recently hired as head coach at Arkansas-Little Rock.
