Pair of former Hogs get rookie treatment

Washington Redskins rookies Zach Hocker and Robert Thomas have received some good natured hazing at training camp this week.

The former Arkansas kicker shaved his head and tweeted a picture. The picture was accompanied by a message that said, "No one ever said your rookie season would be easy…"

Hocker's tweet was retweeted over 200 times, while ESPN's NFL twitter account (@ESPNNFL) also tweeted the picture and got over 450 retweets.

Thomas, a former Arkansas defensive tackle, has not had to shave his head, but he has been forced to carry the veteran players' helmets.

Both players joined Washington during the offseason. Hocker was a seventh-round draft choice, while Thomas signed as an undrafted free agent
