North Little Rock junior point guard Malica Monk has committed to Arkansas.

Monk, 5-5 averaged 13.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 3.2 steals a game. She had a total of 116 steals for the season.

She officially visited Fayetteville over the weekend and chose the Hogs over scholarship offers from Kansas State and UALR, and is the first in-state prospect to pledge to Coach Jimmy Dykes.

She's not related to Bentonville sophomore guard Malik Monk.
