Monday recruiting tidbits

Running back Karan Higdon.

Running back Karan Higdon said he and his mother are trying to visit Arkansas on Thursday.

Higdon, 5-9, 190, 4.46 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Sarasota, (Fla.) Riverview reports having scholarship offers from Arkansas, South Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wake Forest and others. He's committed to the Bulls. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Linebacker Chris Orr, 6-0, 208, 4.6 of DeSoto, Texas said he'll participate in the June 16th Elite Camp at Arkansas. He has offers from Wisconsin, North Texas and Nevada.

Running back Charles West, 5-10, 190 pounds of Coppell, Texas said he'll attend Arkansas' June 17th camp. He said he recorded a 4.38 in the 40 during the Army Combine in early June. He has also recorded a a time of 10.5 seconds in the 100 meters. He has more than 10 offers, including Texas Tech, San Diego State, BYU, Arkansas State and Kansas State. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Arkansas tight end commitment Austin Cantrell of Roland, Oklahoma said he thinks he'll be in Fayetteville June 16th.

Defensive end Jeremiah Ledbetter of Hutchinson Community College in Kansas said June 27-28 weekend is looking like the probable dates for an official visit to Arkansas.

Safety Khalil Haughton, 6-2, 180, 4.44 of Waco, (Texas) Midway said he believes he's still on for Friday's visit to Arkansas. His teammate and quarterback Ben Hicks, a Houston commitment is suppose to be coming up too. Ben Hicks video highlights CLICK HERE

As reported on May 28, offensive guard Jalin Barnett, who's rated the No. 1 offensive guard prospect in the nation by ESPN, plans to visit Arkansas on Friday. ESPN rates him the No. 36 overall prospect.

Barnett, 6-31/2, 305 pounds of Lawton, Okla. has more than 50 offers from schools like Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Alabama, Auburn, Stanford, Tennessee and others. Video highlights CLICK HERE

As reported Friday night, Ole Miss running back commitment Rawleigh Williams, 5-10, 200, 4.53 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Dallas Bishop Lynch received an offer. He said he definitely plans to visit the Hogs. CLICK HERE

Running back Reggie Gallaspy, 5-11, 215 pounds, 4.53 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Greensboro (N.C.) Southern Guilford also received an offer from the Hogs on Friday. He's planning to visit Fayetteville.

He has approximately 20 other scholarship offers from schools like Louisville, Michigan State, Duke, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Wake Forest and Vanderbilt. Video highlights CLICK HERE

9:55 update

Bentonville running back-linebacker Hekili Keliiliki received an offer from Stanford, according to Coach Barry Lunney Sr. He's being recruited as a fullback.

Ledbetter will visit at a later date than the June2-28 weekend.
