Fresh off a good showing at the Missouri camp on Tuesday, receiver Brandon Singleton will try to impress Arkansas coaches at today’s Elite Camp.

“Missouri was really impressed and they said they’re thinking of offering,” said Singleton, who received an offer from Southeast Missouri State offer while at the Tigers’ camp. “They said it’s just a waiting game.”

Singleton, 6-0, 170, 4.51 seconds in the 40 yard, of Boutte, (La.) Hahnville also has offers from Louisiana- Monroe, Northwestern State, Western Kentucky and Gambling. Video highlights CLICK HERE

He’s accumulated his offers despite playing a run oriented offense.

“I think for all of the colleges, I feel like I have something to prove,” Singleton said. “Coming from Hahnville, we’re really not passing team. So I’m really excited about coming to Arkansas. I’ve always loved Arkansas. I’m excited to show the coaches what I got.”

He accompanied Arkansas freshman cornerback Henre’ Toliver to the Hogs’ spring game in April .

“I liked everything about it,” he said. “The thing that really impressed me about Arkansas was the fan base and the atmosphere. The fans, they were ridiculous into the program. The fans…it’s hard to explain. They’re some good fans.”

His teammate, defensive back Jai Knight, who has offers from Houston, Western Kentucky and others will also attend the camp.

Singleton, who plans to attend a Stanford camp, has the benefit of learning from his father Nate, who played four seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.

“He helps me with everything, there’s not a question that I could ask that he doesn’t know the answer to,” Singleton said. “He helps me tremendously. He’s probably my biggest coach.”

He said his father has taught him the art of route running along with other fundamentals.

“Definitely my route running, he was route technician,” Singleton said. “It doesn’t have to be big things, it’s the little things that will give me the edge in certain areas.”
