Running back Charles West, 5-10, 190 pounds of Coppell, Texas has received an offer from Arkansas. He and three teammates took part in today's camp.
He recorded a 4.38 in the 40 during the Army Combine in early June. He has also recorded a a time of 10.5 seconds in the 100 meters. His other offers include, Texas Tech, San Diego State, BYU, Arkansas State and Kansas State. Running back Joel Thomas is his lead recruiter. Video highlights CLICK HERE
West said he's very edited to get an SEC offer. No plans to commit at this time. He wants to visit other schools. No timeframe on a decision.
He said he was very impressed with the facilities and the people of Arkansas. Coach Bret Bielema was the one who informed him of the offer.
Likes the fact his lead recruiter, Joel Thomas would coach him if he decided to be a Hog.
