Former Arkansas pitcher Mike Bolsinger has been called up by the Arizona Diamondbacks for the second time this season.
Bolsinger will start tonight's game at Milwaukee. He replaces Will Harris in the Diamondbacks' bullpen.
The right-hander pitched six times for the Diamondbacks earlier this season because of an injury. He was 1-2 in five starts and had a 6.08 earned run average in 23 2/3 innings pitched.
Bolsinger has been much better for Triple-A Reno this season. He is 5-1 in nine starts on that level with a 2.73 ERA in 55 2/3 innings.
Bolsinger is one of three pitchers from Arkansas' 2009 team currently in MLB along with Dallas Keuchel (Astros) and Drew Smyly (Tigers).
