Walmart NW Arkansas Championship

Lewis four shots off the lead

Stacy Lewis hits from the 15th tee box on Saturday, June 28, 2014, during the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship Presented by P&G at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers.

— Stacy Lewis shot up the leader board Saturday, shooting a 5-under 66, and is four strokes off the lead at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship in Rogers after a rain-shortened second round.

The former Arkansas golfer was 1-under entering the day and started Saturday's round with three birdies in five holes. She made the turn at 4-under and, after a bogey on hole No. 3, she made a pair of birdies, including one on her final hole of the day.

The performance was good enough for Lewis to move into a tie for sixth. She trails the leader, Michelle Wie, by four strokes. Last weekend, Lewis finished second to Wie at the U.S. Women's Open.

Making her professional debut, Emily Tubert did not have a very good second round.

Tubert, who recently graduated from Arkansas, struggled throughout the round, making four bogeys, a double bogey and a triple bogey en route to a 7-over 78.

She finished 10-over for the tournament and will miss the cut.

Current Razorback Gaby Lopez's second round was cut short because of rain. Before play was suspended, she was 2-over through 14 holes. Overall, she is 1-over, which is one stroke off the projected cut line.

The second round will resume Sunday at approximately 7:30 a.m. and the final round will begin later in the morning.
