Clarke named SEC player of the week

Arkansas' Coty Clarke, right, moves past Marcus Thornton of Georgia Saturday, March 1, 2014, during the first half of the game at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville.

— Arkansas forward Coty Clarke was named the Southeastern Conference's player of the week on Monday.

Clarke, a senior, scored a career-high 23 points in the Razorbacks' win over Georgia on Saturday. He also was instrumental in Arkansas' win at Kentucky earlier in the week, scoring 11 points, including 7 points in overtime.
