Arkansas schedules doubleheader vs. MVSU

— Arkansas will play a doubleheader against Mississippi Valley State next Tuesday at Baum Stadium.

The first game will begin at 3:05 p.m. and single-game and season tickets will be honored for both contests. The second game was added to make-up for the Razorbacks' canceled game against IPFW on March 3 because of winter weather.

With the added game, Arkansas and Mississippi Valley State will play three times next week. The two teams are also scheduled to play at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock next Wednesday, repeating a Fayetteville-North Little Rock swing from last season against the Delta Devils.

Mississippi Valley State, a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, is 0-18 this season. The Delta Devils finished with college baseball's second lowest RPI last season, which hurt the Razorbacks' strength of schedule and chances at hosting a NCAA Regional.
