Friday recruiting tidbits
Smackover sophomore receiver Jordan Jones is one of the more promising in-state prospects in his class.
Running back Soso Jamabo of Plano West High School in Texas reports receiving a scholarship offer from Arkansas four days ago. He said he will definitely visit the Hogs in the spring or summer.
ESPN rates him the No. 5 running back and the No. 45 overall prospect in the nation.
Sophomore receiver Jordan Jones of Smackover is now drawing interest from Oklahoma State and Mississippi State. Arkansas has been actively recruiting him. He's one of the top 2016 prospects in the state.

Sophomore tight end- defensive end Dylan Soehner, 6-6, 260 of Prairie Grove attended Arkansas' practice on Thursday. He's one of the more promising in-state prospects in the 2016 class. Video highlights CLICK HERE
North Little Rock junior guard KeVaughn Allen has been named Gatorade's Arkansas Basketball Player of the Year. He led the Charging Wildcats to a 26-2 record and the Class 7A state championship this past season while averaging 21.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 3.7 steals per game.
An All-Arkansas First Team selection and the state’s Sophomore of the Year in 2013, he is rated as the nation’s No. 27 recruit in the Class of 2015 by ESPN.
Allen has maintained a 3.19 GPA in the classroom. He has volunteered locally on behalf of youth basketball teams and the Shop With a Cop program, which provides Christmas gifts for families in need.
