NLR's Phillips records nation's best SPARQ at Nike Combine

North Little Rock safety Tyler Phillips shows off the nation's leading SPARQ rating.

— North Little Rock safety Tyler Phillips recorded this year's best SPARQ rating at today's Nike Football SPARQ Combine at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Phillips, 6-2, 206 scored a 141.36 rating by recording a electronic time of 4.68 seconds in the 40 yard dash, 40.7 inch vertical, 4.00 pro-shuttle and 42 foot power ball toss.

The previous best this year was 138.84 recorded by highly recruited receiver Kirk Merritt of Destrehan, Louisiana.

North Little Rock linebacker Justice Austin, 6-1, 242 pounds had the second best SPARQ score with a 129.96. He recorded 4.82 seconds in the 40 yard dash, 35.8 inch vertical, 4.13 pro-shuttle and a 43.5 foot power ball toss.

Charging Wildcat receiver K.J. Hill, 6-1, 190 recorded a 126.30 SPARQ rating with 4.59 seconds in the 40 yard dash, 37.1 inch vertical, 3.93 pro-shuttle and 40 foot power ball toss.

Athlete Avery Johnson of Highland recorded an impressive a 115.44 with 4.75 seconds in the 40 yard dash, 30.8 vertical, 4.04 pro-shuttle and 41 foot power ball toss. He measured 6-1 and weighed 211 pounds. He said performed with a tight hamstring.

Bryant junior offensive lineman Cameron Davis and sophomore defensive lineman Cameron Murray did well.

Davis, 6-3, 270 pounds recored a 5.29 time in the 40, had a 26 inch vertical, 4.60 pro-shuttle and a 36.5 foot power ball toss for a SPARQ rating of 76.72.

Murray, 6-2, 272 pounds scored one of the better SPARQ ratings for linemen with a 86.19. He recorded 5.03 seconds in the 40 yard dash, 25.4 inch vertical, 4.55 pro-shuttle and a 38.5 fort power ball toss.

Running back Tristian Thompson of Dardnelle has a 106.58 SPARQ rating. He had a 4.91 in the 40, 3-3. vertical, 4.22 pro-shuttle and a 40.5 power ball. He came in at 5-11, 238.

North Little Rock Region Jefferson had a 107.76 by running a 4.86 in the 40, 35.1 vertical, 4.06 pro-shuttle and 37 power ball.

2016 North Little Rock linebacker Tavius Anderson, 5-11, 199 had a 101.28 SPARQ rating. He recorded a 4.68 in the 40, 32.4 vertical, 4.22 pro-shuttle and a 37.5 power ball.

2016 cornerback Garret Lawson, 5-8, 157 of North Little Rock scored a 108.60 SPARQ with a 4.63 in the 40, 40.2 vertical, 4.06 pro-shuttle and 35.5 power ball.

2016 running back Carl Turner, 5-8, 218 of Newport scored a 102.81 by recording a 4.65 in the 40, 36.9 vertical, 4.47 pro-shuttle and a 35.5 power ball.

2016 quarterback Corvasea Cooney, 6-1, 171 had a 111.87 SPARQ by recording a 4.79 in the 40, 36.7 vertical, 4.16 pro-shuttle and 43 power ball.

North Little Rock defensive back Jaelon Scott recored a 123. 33. He had a 4.86 in the 40, 38 vertical, 4.01 pro shuttle and 41.5 power ball.

Offensive lineman Sam Corbett, 6-2, 282 of Greenbrier had a 81.99 with a 5.44 in the 40, 28.5 vertical, 4.66 pro-shuttle.

North Little Rock athlete D.J. Brown, 5-11,181 recorded a 97.77 while posting a 4.59 in the 40, 33.9 vertical, 4.24 pro-shuttle and 35 power ball.

2016 quarterback-safety LaDarius Skelton had a 82.59. He recorded a 4.88 time in the 40, 30.3 vertical, 4.31 pro-shuttle and a 43.5 power ball.

Maumelle receiver J.B. Minix, 5-7, 153 recored a 81.18 with a 4.78 in the 40, 35.1 vertical, 4.41 pro-shuttle and 35.5 power ball.

Maumelle defensive back Blake Conner, 6-0, 188 had a 89.94 SPARQ. He had a 4.84 in the 40, 34 vertical, 4.25 pro-shuttle and 35 power ball.

Jonesboro receiver Lamar Haynes, 6-0, 173 of Jonesboro had a 81.84 SPARQ while recording a 4.74 in the 40, 33.4 vertical, 4.53 pro-shuttle and 36 power ball.

Jonesboro quarterback Deavion Binion, 5-8, 170 scored a 94.77 with a 4.49 in the 40, 36.9 vertical, 4.31 pro-shuttle and 31 power ball.

2-16 running back Damarea Crockett, 5-10, 191 scored a 92.19 and recorded a 4.64 in the 40, 34.4 vertical, 4.36 pro-shuttle and 33.5 power ball.

Little Rock Central linebacker Malcolm Williams, 5-10, 235 recorded a 91.62 and had a 4.95 in the 40, 34.6 vertical, 4.72 pro-shuttle and 38 power ball.

2016 linebacker Raymond Hill, 510, 217 of Camden Fairview had a score of 91.95. He recorded a 4.88 in the 40, 31.9 vertical, 4.38 pro-shuttle and 37.3 power ball.

2016 receiver Sean Hall, 5-7, 148 of Camden Fairview scored a 98.25 while recording a 4.63 in the 40, 41.9 vertical, 4.07 pro-shuttle and a 29.5 power ball.

2016 Greenwood linebacker Grant Morgan recorded a 93.84 while posting a 4.95 in the 40, 32 vertical, 4.22 pro-shuttle and 37.5 power ball. He's the younger brother of Arkansas receiver Drew Morgan.
