Arkansas does not have interest in guard-forward Jamal Jones, who recently announced he's transferring from Texas A&M.

Even if there was interest, the SEC doesn't allow transfers with only one year of eligibility.

Arkansas football signee Josh Liddell of Pine Bluff Dollarway helped lead the Cardinals to the Class 4A track and field state title on Tuesday. He won the 400 meters with a time of 50.3 seconds and placed 5th in the 100 meters with a time of 11.2. Both events were against a headwind.

As reported on Tuesday, Arkansas is showing interest in Magnolia defensive end Immanuel Turner, 6-3, 230 pounds. Ole Miss, Arkansas State and Louisiana Tech visited the school on Tuesday. The Hogs are expected to also visit during the spring evaluation period.

Defensive end Demikal Harrison of Midwest City, Oklahoma reports Arkansas offensive line coach Sam Pittman being at his school today. Highly regarded safety Will Sunderland, who has an offer from the Hogs, also attends the school.

The allows a SEC school to take a basketball transfer with one year of eligbility only if the athlete has graduated. The SEC has disallowed that same situation in football.
