— Arkansas catcher Jake Wise has been cleared to play in tonight's game against Texas A&M.

Wise has missed the last two games after suffering a concussion in the first inning of last Saturday's game at Ole Miss. Wise will bat eighth in the lineup and start behind the plate as the Razorbacks attempt to win the series following a 3-2 walk-off win Friday.

Arkansas started freshman Alex Gosser in Friday's game. It was the first game of Gosser's career after redshirting most of this season. Backup catcher Blake Baxendale isn't likely to play this weekend with a hamstring injury.

Gosser went 0-for-4 Friday with three strikeouts. He came to the plate three times with runners in scoring position, but stranded the runners each time.

Wise is only batting .167 this season but is considered one of the SEC's best defensive catchers. He has thrown out a league-leading 20 base runners this season.

Arkansas and Texas A&M are tied for fifth place in the SEC West entering Saturday's game with 12-13 league records.
