Arkansas clinches SEC Tournament spot

NWA Media/MICHAEL WOODS --05/25/2013-- University of Arkansas coach Dave Van horn heads bach to the bench after talking with the team in the 4th inning of Saturdays game against the Tigers in the 2013 SEC baseball tournament in Hoover, Alabama.

— Arkansas clinched a spot in next week's SEC Tournament with a 9-4 win over Missouri on Thursday.

The Razorbacks (33-21, 14-14 SEC) will play next Tuesday in the tournament's first round, though the opponent and game time likely won't be determined until Saturday. First round games are single elimination, followed by double elimination games until the tournament semifinals.

With a logjam in the middle of the SEC standings, Arkansas could enter next week's tournament as high as the No. 5 seed or as low as the No. 11 seed. The Razorbacks will play Missouri (20-31, 6-22 SEC) twice more this weekend.
