Report: Arkansas schedules Dayton in hoops

FAYETTEVILLE Arkansas will begin a home-and-home basketball series against Dayton next season, according to a CBSSports.com report.
The Razorbacks will play the Flyers at Bud Walton Arena before a return trip to Ohio the next season, according to the report. Dayton, a member of the Atlantic-10 Conference, advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament as an 11-seed last season.
The game against Dayton is the fourth known nonconference matchup for the Razorbacks next year. Arkansas has road games scheduled at Iowa State (Dec. 4), Clemson (Dec. 7) and SMU.
The Razorbacks beat Dayton in the second round of the 1990 NCAA Tournament in the only previous meeting between the programs. Former Arkansas assistant Tom Ostrom is a current assistant on the Flyers' staff.
