Thursday recruiting tidbits

Safety Kahlil Haughton.

Safety Kahlil Haughton, 6-2, 180, 4.44, of Waco, (Texas) Midway said he'll visit Arkansas sometime between June 7 and 14.

He has more than 20 scholarship offers from schools like Arkansas, Oklahoma,TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Duke. He had a prior relaltionship with defensive backs coach Clay Jennings while he was at TCU.

Running back Mon Denson, 5-11 1/ 2, 207 pounds, 4.44 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of LaGrange, Georgia said Arkansas defensive line coach Rory Segrest visited his school on Wednesday.

He has about 20 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Georgia Tech and West Virginia. He plans to visit the Hogs.

Receiver Kemah Siverand said Arkansas defensive backs coach Clay Jennings will attend his spring game Friday evening.

Siverand, 6-1, 190, 4.56 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Houston Cypress Ridge has about 20 offers, including Arkansas, Texas, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Oklahoma State. His mother, Lisa is from Little Rock and he still has family members in the area. He plans to visit Fayetteville.

Arkansas, Alabama, Southern Miss, Arkansas State and numerous other schools have or will visit Fort Smith Northside this week.

Auburn, Oklahoma State, Arizona State and OBU attended North Little Rock's practice on Wednesday.

Arkansas tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. visited Pine Bluff on Wednesday.

Nebraska running back commitment Kendall Bussey, 5-9, 195, 4.42 of New Orleans, (La.) Isidore Newman said receivers coach Michael Smith attended a practice last week, he and his father visited the Hogs' spring game.

Louisville has offered sophomore defensive lineman Austin Capps of Star City. Arkansas extended an offer after last year's June camp.

Arkansas has not offered sophomore quarterback Keon Howard of Laurel, Miss. Being reported he has been offered, but not at this time.

Athlete McKinley Whitfield, 6-4, 194, 4.6 of Spiro, Okla. reports on Twitter that he has added an offer from Houston, He played quarterback for the 8-3 Bulldogs and passed for about 1,100 yards and rushed for 1,123 yards.

He also has scholarship offers from Arkansas State, Tulsa, Memphis, Utah State, Army, Navy and others. He plans to attend Arkansas' camp and earn an offer as a safety.
