Offensive lineman Cameron Jefferson has signed a national letter of intent with Arkansas.
He officially visited the Hogs Tuesday- Thursday. He was hosted by offensive tackle Brey Cook.
The Rebels were hit with Level One APR sanctions recently and that opened up the possibility for Jefferson to go elsewhere.
Jefferson, 6-6, 305, 5.0 was a three year starter at UNLV and played both tackle spots and guard. He has one year of eligibility and is able to play in the fall.
He will graduate in June and will seek a Masters Degree in Sports Management at Arkansas.
He started playing football as a junior in high school and is a 2010 graduate of Las Vegas Desert Oasis.
Jefferson’s father, William played college football at Maryland and spent two seasons with the Cleveland Browns in 1989-90 and also played in the CFL as an offensive lineman.

He said the resumes of Coach Bret Bielema, offensive line coach Sam Pittman and offensive coordinator Jim Chaney of developing linemen helped make his decision easier.
Cook told him of the great fan support the Hogs enjoy.
He said Fayetteville reminds him of Ohio as he was growing up.
Jefferson said he plans to report to Fayetteville in late June or early July. He expects to compete for the left guard spot.

His brother, Noah is a 2015 defensive end prospect that's committed to Southern Cal. He said Noah will not be considering Arkansas.
