Highly recruited defensive lineman Hjalte Froholdt became the fourth prospect to sign an athletic financial aid agreement with Arkansas on Thursday.

Froholdt, 6-5, 290 pounds of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy, committed to the Razorbacks in December over offers from Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan State and others.

The agreement is for prospects who are academically qualified to enroll in January and allows unlimited communication between Froholdt and the Arkansas coaches. While it doesn't bind a prospect to the school, it does bind the school to the student-athlete.

"I'm secure that Arkansas is the place for me to go," Froholdt said. "This will also make it easier to communicate with coaches, as there's no limitations any longer."

A native of Denmark, he played as a sophomore at Warren (Ohio) Harding High School as an exchange student. He played club football in Denmark his junior season and enrolled at IMG Academy over the summer.

"Hjalte possesses all the uncommon qualities we look for in a Razorback," Coach Bret Bielema said. " He brings physicality on the field and embodies the qualities off the field that we look for in our men."

Froholdt, who plans to officially visit the Razorbacks for the Ole Miss game on Nov. 22, recorded 58 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 12 tackles for loss and 2 forced fumbles this season. ESPN rates him the No. 13 defensive tackle and the No. 97 prospect in the nation.

He said Fayetteville is the right place for him.

"That feeling man," he said. "The feeling of home. I love it."

Coach Bret Bielema and defensive line coach Rory Segrest attended his game last Friday.

Charleston quarterback Ty Storey, Fort Smith Northside defensive lineman Daytrieon Dean and offensive lineman Zach Rogers of Carrollton (Texas) Hebron has also signed athletic financial aid agreements.
