After several weeks of speculation, Ryan Mallett made his first career NFL start Sunday in Cleveland.

The fourth-year quarterback completed 20 of 30 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns and led the Texans to a 23-7 win over the Browns.

While he played well enough for the win, the former Arkansas quarterback was not perfect in the start.

On the second play of the game, he under threw a wide receiver that cost the Texans a touchdown. He also threw a first-quarter interceptions that also likely cost the Texans at least a field goal.

However, he made a critical throw on fourth down with Houston clinging to a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter that kept his offense on the field longer and led to a short field goal.

Mallett's performance earned a Total QBR of 81.9. Ryan Fitzpatrick, who started the Texans' first nine games, had a Total QBR of 45.3.

Opposite of the Texans, the Browns were without former Arkansas fullback Kiero Small, as he was waived by Cleveland after starting three games.

Small was signed to the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad after he cleared waivers. The signing was a homecoming of sorts, as he is from Baltimore.

Former Arkansas running back Peyton Hillis is also no longer on the New York Giants' 53-man roster, as he was placed on injured reserve after suffering a concussion last week.

The Jacksonville Jaguars had a bye week, so Chris Smith did not play, but here is a look at how the other 10 former Arkansas football players on NFL 53-man rosters performed in Week 11.

Alvin Bailey - Seattle Seahawks

Making his third consecutive start, Bailey played every offensive snap of the Seahawks' 24-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. However, starting left guard James Carpenter, who Bailey has been filling in for, has "a real chance" to play against the Arizona Cardinals next week, head coach Pete Carroll said.

Knile Davis - Kansas City Chiefs

Davis accounted for 81 all-purpose yards in the Chiefs' 24-20 win over the Seattle Seahawks. He returned two kickoffs for 63 yards, caught one pass for eight yards and had five carries for 10 yards, including what proved to be the game-winning touchdown run early in the fourth quarter.

Nate Garner - Miami Dolphins

With starting right tackle Dallas Thomas struggling in the Dolphins' 22-9 win over the Buffalo Bills, Garner could see some playing time on the offensive line next week.

Brett Goode - Green Bay Packers

Goode struggled at long snapper in the Packers' 53-20 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. He had a low snap on an extra point that led to the holder having to abort the attempt and also had a breakdown in protection that led to a blocked punt.

Chris Gragg - Buffalo Bills

Gragg caught one pass for two yards in the Bills' 22-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Darren McFadden - Oakland Raiders

McFadden had eight carries for 21 yards in the Raiders' 13-6 loss to the San Diego Chargers.

Jason Peters - Philadelphia Eagles

Despite the overall poor performance from the Eagles' offensive line in their 53-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers, Peters was the "most consistent lineman - again," according to Philly.com's Jeff McLane.

Travis Swanson - Detroit Lions

Filling in for injured starting right guard Larry Warford, Swanson played every offensive snap of the Lions' 14-6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He allowed only one quarterback hurry, but struggled in run blocking and graded at minus-4.2, according to Pro Football Focus.

George Wilson - Tennessee Titans

Wilson had eight tackles, including seven solo and one for a loss, in the Titans' 27-24 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. That was tied for the team lead in the game.

Jarius Wright - Minnesota Vikings

Near the end of the first half of the Vikings' 21-13 loss to the Chicago Bears, Wright was targeted with a pass, but injured his hamstring on the play. He did not return to the game.
