Tuesday recruiting tidbits

Junior running back Devin White is considered one of the top 2016 prospects in the nation.

One of the top junior prospects in the nation is related to a current Razorback.

Highly regarded junior running back Devin White is first cousins with Arkansas receiver Jared Cornelius.

He's being recruited by receivers coach Michael Smith and plans to visit Arkansas during next summer. He hoped to visit for the LSU game, but was unable to make it. He plans to visit next summer.

White, 6-2, 235, 4.47 of Springhill, (La.) North Webster has 10 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, LSU, Alabama, Nebraska and Ole Miss. ESPN rates him the No. 178 prospect in the 2016 class.

He rushed for 235 yards and scored 4 touchdowns in Friday's playoff game.

Junior cornerback Kristian Fulton, 6-0, 170 pounds of Metairie, (La.) Rummel has 15 offers, including Arkansas, LSU, Florida, Tennessee and Georgia. He has 10 interceptions for the season.

He said his former teammates, Hog linebacker Dwayne Eugene and cornerback Henre' Toliver told him something during their recruiting process that's made him think.

Toliver told him Coach Bret Bielema told him a recruit should pick a school based on the best fit academically, socially and athletically.

Fulton said that changed his his way of thinking. He was more focused on football, but understands the importance of fitting in academically and socially. He said likes Smith's approach to recruiting.

He hoped to visit for the LSU game, but had practice on Saturday. Video highlights CLICK HERE

A tidbit overlooked about highly recruited junior tight end Kaden Smith of Flower Mound, (Texas) Marcus is that his girlfriend is a student at Arkansas. He visited the Hogs for the LSU game.

Friday's stats:

Pulaski Robinson junior athlete T.J. Hammonds had 133 total yards on 20 touches, 89 yards rushing and 44 receiving.

LR Christian junior running back Damarea Crockett had 21 carries for 215 yards, 2 catches for 60 yards and scored 5 touchdowns.

Junior receiver Isaiah Graham of Bastrop, La. had 5 receptions for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Running back Charles West of Coppell, Texas had 16 carries for 126 yards Thursday night. For season, 161 carries for 1465 yards sand 13 touchdowns.

Fayetteville athlete and Hog commitment Dre Greenlaw had 3 receptions for 93 yards, 1 touchdown, 3 rushes for 13 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 of 1 passing for a 47 yards and a touchdown.

Arkansas tight end commit C.J. O'Grady of Fayetteville had 3 receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown.

Hog running back commit Rawleigh Williams of Dallas Bishop Lynch had 28 carries for 89 yards, 3 touchdowns, 2 receptions for 7 yards and a touchdown. For season, he has 318 rushes for 2,704 yards and 37 touchdowns.

Arkansas receiver commitment Deon Stewart of Highland had 3 catches for 80 yards and a touchdown, 5 rushes for 36 yards, 2 tackles and an interception. For the season, he had 49 catches for 1,015 yards, 11 touchdowns. He finished his career with 2,036 yards and 24 touchdowns. Both are school records.

Arkansas athlete commit JaMario Bell of Junction City had 4 tackles, a tackle for loss and a reception for 3 yards.

Fayetteville sophomore quarterback Tyler Powell was 11 of 14 for 233 yards and 2 touchdowns.
