— The Razorback Marching Band will pay tribute this weekend to the University of Arkansas' 1964 football team, which finished the year undefeated.

The halftime program at the Alabama game Saturday will include songs by The Beatles, The Beach Boys and The Monkees. It was arranged by graduate assistant and former drum major Chase Jones.

Arkansas' 1964 team finished 11-0 and after its bowl game was named national champion by the Football Writers Association of America and the Helms Athletic Foundation. The Associated Press champion that year was Alabama, which subsequently lost to Texas in the Orange Bowl.

Members of the 1964 team are expected at Saturday's game to mark the 50th anniversary of the 1964 team.

The band has 330 members from every college at the university.
