Safety Kahlil Haughton of Waco, (Texas) Midway called his official visit to Arkansas great. The players and coaches create a very engteric family environment. He said he got a good vibe and saw how the players really like being at Arkansas.

Safety De'Andre Coley was his host. Coley told him good things about defensive backs coach Clay Jennings and being in Fayetteville.

Haughton was very impressed by the Hogs holding Amari Cooper to two catches and 22 yards. He said the trip definitely helped the Hogs' chances.

Coach Bret Bielema told him he took the Arkansas job to do something no one lease has done before and that's to win an SEC and national championship and he loves Haughton's skills and would like to have him on the defensive backfield.

He has visits to Baylor and Texas Tech coming up.

Offensive lineman Pat Allen of Reisterstown (Md.) Franklin will leave on Monday. He arrived at about 1 o'clock on Saturday for his official visit.

Highly regarded junior offensive lineman Willie Allen of River Ridge, (La.) Curtis did not make it to Arkansas for the Alabama game. He plans to attend the Georgia game in Little Rock with junior linebacker Nate Evans and junior offensive lineman Jake Charpentier.

Charpentier, who's drawing interest from Missouri and Southern Miss, is the younger brother of Arkansas offensive lineman Luke Charpentier.

UCLA defensive line commit Bryce English, 5-11, 315, 4.99 of DeSoto, Texas said he's still on to visit for the Georgia game.

Oregon State linebacker commit Angelo Garbutt, 6-2, 212, 4.59 of Carrolton, (Texas) Hebron enjoyed his visit for the Alabama game. He said he and his family felt very welcomed.

He and running backs coach Joel Thomas started talking recently. He said he's keeping his options open.

TCU commit Jeff Gladney of New Boston, Texas was impressed with the atmosphere at Arkansas after spending time with the coaches before the Alabama game. He has been timed at 10.76 in the 100 meters.

Tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. is recruiting him and the Hogs like him as a cornerback. He believes an offer could come.

Texas State defensive line commitment Malik Mancil of Florence, Ala. visited for the game and called the game great but just wished the Hogs came out on top. The Razorbacks visited his school during the open date.

Arkansas defensive line target Bryce English had 3 assisted and 7 solos tackles along with 1 tackle for loss, 1 QB pressure, 1 sack on Friday.

Arkansas defensive line commit Hjalte Froholdt of Bradenton, (Fla.) IMG had 6 unassisted tackles, 2 assisted tackles, 3 sacks, 4 tackles for loss and a QB hurry.

Forward Malik Dime of Indian Hills Community College said he plans to announce his decision sometime next week.

Arkansas offensive line target Jalin Barnett of Lawton, Okla. graded out at 90%, 8 pancake blocks and 3 knockdowns.
