Keuchel named Gold Glove finalist

Houston Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel is a finalist for the Rawlings Gold Glove award.

Keuchel is one of three finalists among American League pitchers. Other finalists are Mark Beuhrle of the Blue Jays and Felix Hernandez of the Mariners.

Gold Glove award winners will be announced Nov. 7.

Keuchel is coming off the best season of his professional career. He went 12-9 with a 2.93 earned run average in 29 starts this season for the Astros. His five complete games led the American League.

In 200 innings, Keuchel's fielding percentage was .985 and he committed only one error.
