Tuesday recruiting tidbits

Tight end Austin Cantrell.

Arkansas tight end commitment Austin Cantrell rates Coach Bret Bielema's man cave an eight after spending time at his house on Saturday.

Cantrell, who made his official visit with his parents over the weekend, said the lack of a refrigerator kept the man cave from receiving a 10 rating.

He was able to learn more about the offense during a meeting with tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. The Hogs are looking for him to help spread the field.

Hog receiver prospect Dominique Reed of Coffeyville Community College had 7 receptions for 143 yards and 4 touchdowns on Saturday. He has 52 catches for 889 yards and 14 touchdowns for the season. He's expected to officially visit the Hogs for the Ole Miss or LSU game.

Arkansas defensive line commit Jeremiah Ledbetter of Hutchinson Community College had 16 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1 recovered fumble and 1 sack on Sat.

Hope junior defensive end McTelvin Agim had 6.5 tackles, a sack and a tackle for loss.

RB Patrick Carr of The Woodlands, Texas has 129 carries for 922 yards, 13 touchdowns along with 8 receptions for 86 yards in 8 games.

Linebacker-defensive Porter Gustin of Salem Hills, Utah completed 23 of 40 passes for 292 yards and a touchdown, 6 rushes for 68 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, he had 15 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 1 sack vs rival Spanish Fork.

Junior defensive-offensive lineman Austin Capps of Star City had 6 tackles, 2 sacks, a tackles for loss and a QB hurry.

Safety Montrel Wilson, who was committed to Baylor but reopened his recruitment on Sunday, said he's looking to make an official visit to Arkansas. He mentioned TCU as another possibility for a visit.

Wilson, 6-3, 195, 4.59 of Keller, Texas, Fossil Ridge said he recently spoke to his lead recruiter, running backs coach Joel Thomas.
