Deja vu for Qualls

Arkansas' Michael Qualls, left, celebrates with Moses Kingsley, right, after dunking in the final second to win the game during the second half of the Razorbacks' Red-White Game Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, in Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville.

Arkansas' annual Red-White game was reminiscent of a pair of last year's games.

Michael Qualls reminded the world that he could still fly, as he made a putback dunk after a Rashad Madden missed shot with half a second left in the game, a la last year's Kentucky game, to give the Red team a 99-98 win.

For much of Wednesday night, the White team dominated, led by Bobby Portis. The White team was up by as many as 20 points late in the first half.

Portis had 19 points and 10 rebounds at the half and at times he played like he did against Alabama last year.

He finished with 28 points on 11-of-21 shooting and added 14 rebounds and two assists. He was 5 of 7 from the free throw line, but his last miss came with 11 seconds left, and the White up by one, which gave the Red its last possession.

Qualls led the Red team with 21 points, 19 of which came in the second half. Moses Kingsley and Anton Beard each had 18 points, while Madden (17) and Anthlon Bell (15) were also in double figures for the Red.

Jacorey Williams (17), Jabril Durham (15), Alandise Harris (14) and Dusty Hannahs (12) were in double figures for the White.
