Hogs sweep SEC cross country again

— Arkansas' men and women cross country teams won at the Southeastern Conference Championships Friday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Dominique Scott and Grace Heymsfield finished 1-2 in the women's race as the Razorbacks won their second consecutive conference championship. Scott won her second straight individual championship, while Heymsfield improved on a third place finish last year.

Stanley Kebenei, who finished second at the race last year, won the men's individual title in Arkansas' fifth consecutive team win at the SEC meet. The Razorbacks have won 39 of their last 41 conference meets in cross country.

Arkansas' women finished with 32 points, well ahead of second-place Vanderbilt, who scored 85 points. The Razorbacks' men scored 54 points, edging out second-place Ole Miss with 60.

The teams will compete next in the NCAA South Central Regional in Fayetteville on Nov. 14.
