Nation's top OG set for Arkansas visit
Offensive lineman Jalin Barnett of Lawton, Okla. plans to officially visit Arkansas Sept. 19-21 for the Northern Illinois game. He has a game on the 18th.
He's rated the No. 1 offensive guard and the No. 43 overall recruit in the nation by ESPN. He has more than 50 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, Alabama, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Auburn, Stanford and Tennessee.
Barnett, 6-4, 305 pounds said he also plans to visit Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Oregon, but hasn't set any dates. He plans to take a fifth visit.
He was able to watch the Auburn game and likes how the Hogs play on the offensive line. He and his offensive coordinator visited Fayetteville on June 13. His grandparents will accompany him on his official visit.
Barnett said he'll take his five official visits and then make a decision.
