Future teammates excited about Hill's commitment

K.J. Hill

Receiver K.J. Hill’s commitment to Arkansas on Friday excited the state and several of the other Hog commitments.

Hill, 6-1, 192, 4.42 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of North Little Rock picked the Razorbacks over Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Florida.

"I was blown away by his junior film and rank him among the country's finest wide receiver prospects," said national recruiting analyst Tom Lemming of CBS Sports Network, who rates him as a four-star-plus recruit. "He reminds me of DeSean Jackson when he played at Long Beach Poly. He catches everything within his frame and can make the sensational catch look routine.

The Razorback pledges welcomed the news and is excited to see Hill join the 2015 class.

Tight end Austin Cantrell of Roland, Okla.

“The 2015 recruiting class just took another big step forward.”

Charleston quarterback Ty Storey.

“It’s a big get for us. He’s a big-time playmaker and thats what we needed. Getting K.J. hopefully gets us some momentum and gives us a better chance to get Will.”

Receiver Deon Stewart of Highland.

“It made my mood so much better. When the bell rang for the classes to end, I found Spenser (My friend) and he told me. It's great to add him to the family and him being an in-state kid makes it even better. We're going to do good things at Arkansas.”

“I’m glad he’s on my side. I’m glad we will be attending college together.”

Running back Rawleigh Williams of Dallas Bishop Lynch.

“That’s freaking huge. Seriously that's a huge get. He can play and it's going to be tough to stop the guys that we're getting to build this offense.”

Offensive lineman Zach Rogers of Carrollton, (Texas) Hebron.

“I'm pretty excited about him coming on board. He's the one I've thought would end up with us, but glad to see him make the commitment. From what I've seen and heard from people, he's a freak athlete and that's what we need.”

Punter Blake Johnson of Los Alamitos, Calif.

“Stoked to hear that a stud like K.J. has decided to be a Hog.”

2016 receiver commitment Jordan Jones of Smackover.
