Arkansas might host a highly regarded defensive prospect for an official visit for the Nicholls State game on Saturday.

Defensive end Gabriel Campbell of Yazoo City said he'll know later today if he'll officially visit the Hogs this weekend. He's considered one of the top prospects in Mississippi.

Campbell, 6-6, 255 pounds, 4.7 seconds in the 40-yard dash, has 10 scholarship offers from Arkansas, Ole Miss, California, Mississippi State, Oklahoma and others. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Running back Charles West of Coppell, Texas plans to make an unofficial visit for the Nicholls State game. He has an offer from the Hogs.

Dumas tight end Will Gragg will officially visit Texas this weekend.

Junior athlete Aubrey White,6-1, 190, 4.55 of Wylie, (Texas) East said he plans to attend the Alabama game Oct. 11 and the Texas A&M game Sept. 27. He has several offers. Video highlights CLICK HERE

White is high on the Razorbacks after visiting for the spring game.

Highly recruited junior cornerback Jared Mayden of Sachse, Texas said he received direct messages from Coach Bret Bielema, running backs coach Joel Thomas and defensive backs coach Clay Jennings at 5 a.m. Monday.

2016 receiver commitment Jordan Jones of Smackover received 18 pieces of mail from Arkansas on Tuesday.

Junior defensive end McTelvin Agim of Hope received 63 pieces of mail, including 13 from Arkansas to him and three to his mother.

Junior defensive lineman Austin Capps of Star City received 15 pieces of mail from Arkansas while his mother received four. Oregon sent three letters.

Junior quarterback Breylin Smith of Conway received mail from Arkansas, Oklahoma State and Oregon.

As reported above, defensive end Gabriel Campbell said he might officially visit Arkansas this weekend. He now is hoping to drive up for an unofficial visit.

He has to take the ACT in Oct. and then he'll have the opportunity to officially visit at later date.
