Scott named runner of the week

FAYETTEVILLE — University of Arkansas junior Dominque Scott has been named the Southeastern Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Scott was named winner of the award after setting a new 5K course record while winning the adidas/UCI Invitational in Irvine, California. Scott helped the Razorbacks to its second straight win of the year.

Scott was a 2013 NCAA All-American.
