FAYETTEVILLE — Dominique Scott was named the female Division I Cross Country National Athlete of the Week by the USTFCCCA Monday.
The redshirt junior won the Missouri Southern Stampede in a time of 16:32.78, which was 28.03 seconds faster than her previous best time in a 5K.
It was Scott's second straight win after she won the adidas/UCI Invitational with a time of 17:12.50 on Sept. 6. Both times were meet records.
She was also named the SEC Runner of the Week last week.
As a team, the Razorbacks won the Missouri Southern Stampede with five runners finishing in the top 10. They are ranked No. 8 nationally.
