FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas women's golf team is ranked No. 1 for the first time in program history.

Golfweek.com elevated the Razorbacks from No. 4 to the top spot after winning their opening tournament at the Cougar Classic in Charleston, South Carolina. Arkansas topped a field that included then No. 2 Duke and No. 3 UCLA.

The Razorbacks are scheduled to play in the Schooner Fall Classic this weekend in Norman, Oklahoma.
