Wednesday recruiting tidbits

Highly recruited shooting guard Terrance Ferguson plans to make an unofficial visit to Arkansas, said Ray Forsett of Dallas Prime Prep and Mo Williams Elite.

Forsett said Coach Mike Anderson and assistant coach T.J. Cleveland have done an excellent job of recruiting Ferguson.

Ferguson, 6-6, 185 of Prime Prep Academy in Dallas is rated the No. 2 shooting guard and No. 9 overall prospect in the nation in the 2016 class by ESPN. Forsett said the Hogs' style of play and the coaches have Ferguson interested in the Razorbacks.

Ferguson and Mo Williams Elite will play in Real Deal in the Rock this weekend. Their first game will be against Greenwood Elite on Court One at P.A.R.K. at 9:40 Friday night.

Running back Dedrick Mills, 5-10, 212, 4.46 of Waycross, (Ga.) Ware County said he's still on to visit Arkansas. He has more than 20 offers.

Oklahoma, Kansas State, Georgia and Texas Tech are the latest schools to show interest in Pulaski Robinson athlete T.J. Hammonds.

Quarterback Caleb Griffin of Keller, Texas will visit Arkansas on Saturday, according to Alex King of the Football Brainiacs. Griffin will visit Houston on Sunday.

Fayetteville offensive lineman Noah Johnson has been invited to attend camps at Vanderbilt, Mississippi State and LSU. He's also talking to Appalachian State and may attend their camp. Yale, Cornell, Princeton and Columbia are showing interest and have invited him to visit.

Air Force has offered Pulaski Academy offensive lineman Caden Haws, athlete Tre Bruce and defensive end Robert Ator. Haws also has an offer from BYU.

Greenwood linebacker Grant Morgan will visit UCA this weekend. Arkansas, Auburn, Michigan, Princeton, Harvard and Yale have invited him to attend camp. Tulsa and Missouri are also showing interest.

Little Rock Catholic quarterback Andre Sale said Boston College, Louisville, Florida Atlantic, North Texas, Western Kentucky and Rice plan to watch him throw during spring practice.

He'll visit Boston College and Harvard on April 11.

Fort Smith Northside cornerback Kiondre Thomas will visit Arkansas State April 17 and is expected to receive an offer during the trip. Purdue is starting to show interest.

Offensive lineman Logan Roberson, 6-5, 320 of Harrah, Oklahoma said he will visit Arkansas on Saturday.

Offensive lineman Tom Killiea of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Overland Park, Kansas said he was very impressed with Arkansas after visiting Fayetteville on March 20.

He has an offer from South Dakota State while drawing interest from Arkansas, Western Illinois, Grand Valley State, Northern Iowa, North Dakota State, Western Michigan, Memphis, Butler, Wyoming, and Tulsa.
