— As Arkansas players Bobby Portis and Michael Qualls continue to mull their futures, they have two separate draft deadlines to consider.

Players who declare for the NBA Draft but don't sign with an agent can opt to return to college by April 14, but that isn't the final cut-off for college players to declare for the draft. Players can still enter the draft between April 15-26, but won't have the option to return to college.

Several prominent coaches have proposed to extend the deadline for players to return to college, USA Today reported last month. The current deadline correlates with the first day of the spring signing period, but the proposal would push that date back to late May.

An Arkansas team spokesperson said Wednesday that neither Portis nor Qualls have entered the NBA Draft. An exact timetable for the pair to make their decision isn't known.

Portis led the Razorbacks with 17.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game last season, earning SEC player of the year honors.

Qualls was second on the team with 15.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
