Arkansas is showing interest in a junior college guard, according to Brad Winton of JUCO Recruiting.

Small forward Dikembe Dixon, 6-7, 190 of Bardstown, (Ky.) Nelson County said he's planning to visit Arkansas in May.

Arkansas tight end target Brendan Scales, 6-4, 230 pounds, 4.65 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Wildwood (Mo.) LaFayette recently ran a 50.2 split in the 400 meters. He also threw the shot put 59.8.5 feet. He plans to visit Fayetteville next weekend.

Arkansas incoming freshman Deon Stewart of Highland has best times of 10.94 seconds in the 100 meters, 22.31 in the 200and best of 22 feet in the long jump and 44.3 in the triple jump. He has won all eight of his individual events in the two meets this spring.

Arkansas running back target D'Vaughn Pennamon of Manvel, Texas recently won the district triple jump title with a jump of 46.5 feet.
